Happy Father's Day {Trendy Twine}

Good Day!

I am over on the Trendy Twine Blog today sharing a Father's Day card featuring Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine.
 I started this card with a base of Medium Kraft Cardstock.  I then adhered a piece of white cardstock to the base with foam adhesive. Next I took a strip of Medium Kraft Cardstock and punched a decorative border on one side.  Over that I layed a piece of black cardstock which was the backdrop for the length of Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine that I wrapped around the card face several times adhering with a Kraft Button and tied in a bow.
Using my scrap white cardstock, I die-cut some clouds and randomly placed them on the card. I stamped a hot air balloon on Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock with black ink and fussy cut adding to the white side of the card front. Lastly, I stamped Happy Father's Day on a white stitched banner and placed at the lower left side of the card front to complete the project.

Be sure to stop by Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine today especially since it's on sale.

The Heart Blooms with Love

~Hello

This week at The Kraft Journal, we have a CAS - Embossed Challenge, and I hope you will join along. You can dry emboss as I have done here or wet emboss. We just want to see embossing some how on your projects as long as you use Kraft cardstock or products sold at The Kraft Outlet.
I started with a card base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock. Using a rose embossing folder, I embossed a piece of pink cardstock and layered it to the bottom quarter of the card front.  I took a length of Pink Baker's Twine and wrapped it above the embossed layer and tied in a double bow. I stamped a rose in the middle of a die-cut circle and layered in a white doily adding to center of the card.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Vintage Sepia Ink just below the focal image.

Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your CAS - Embossing creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.

Have a great week!

With Sympathy

Hi!

I've been MIA due to scheduling conflicts. It makes it hard to find time to get in my crafty space and get creative these days. It's all good, but I need to clone me on most days.

I have a sympathy card to share today using Cardabilites as my starting point.

 I started up with Buff Ivory Cardstock as the base of the card onto which I added my pieced patterned paper from a K & Company paper stack I've had for quite sometime. I added a length of crochet trim where the papers meet for added texture and visual interest.  I used a sentiment from My Pink Stamper. I think the script is so pretty.  I added lots of pretty flowers to include crochet flowers that I layered on top of the other.
I am going to keep this short and sweet this morning!

As mentioned, I found inspiration from Cardabilites Sketch Challenge.

I hope you have a great day!

Vintage Cameo with The Kraft Journal.

Hey there and Happy Monday!

At The Kraft Journal this week, we have an "Anything Goes - Vintage" challenge for you! I hope you will come and join us! I have a card that was inspired by an ad I saw several years ago for one of the paper crafting magazine. It was just a snippet of a picture of card that was in their magazine...since it was an ad to get subscribers there was no info. I am not sure who the cardmaker was since I didn't actually see it in the magazine, but I was inspired none the less since I had that same stamp.  I am always looking for inspiration on some of my bigger image stamps. Different ways to use them since they are such a focal point. The original card was a beauty.
I started with a card base of Brown Kraft Cardstock. I embossed the card base with a vintage embossing folder for texture and visual interest.  I stamped the cameo image onto Buff Ivory Cardstock in Kraft Ink. I trimmed the image down adding a row of cream lace to the bottom. Next I took a length of Vintage Winter White Seam Binding and wrapped it around the focal image at the bottom and tied off in a fussy bow adding a kraft brown rose bud to the center. I used foam dimensionals to pop it up in the center of the card base finishing off with a few kraft color pearls.
Please be sure to head over to the The Kraft Journal to check out the projects by the other talented ladies.  We hope to see your Anything Goes - Vintage creations in the gallery this week for your chance to be featured on our "Feature me Friday" post as well as be entered to win a $15.00 gift voucher from The Kraft Outlet store.
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Dad Rock On

Hello Friends,

I am over on the Trendy Twine blog today and I have a treat box to share with you using one of the 3 x 3 Kraft Boxes which are on sale this month.

I started by stamping my images directly on the 3 x 3 Kraft Box to decorate it.  Next I added patterned paper to the top and a die-cut shape for visual interest. Using some fun masculine images in my stash, I stamped the faceplate, sentiment and hand in black ink on ivory textured cardstock and fussy cut it out to place on the front. Using some leftover scraps from decorating the top, I added a few banner tabs to stick behind the plate.
Using a die-cut made to lace ribbon through, I added Dad to the middle and wrapped a length of brown felt stitched ribbon around the box securing through the label bringing it up on both sides adding it to an aqua button designed as well to lace ribbon through. Now you have a secure way to open and close the box. I then took Krazy for Kraft Baker's Twine to tie the tab closed. The recipient just has to undo the twine, pull the ribbon out of the button to get in the box. A cute and functional way to dress up your gift.
Be sure to stop by Annie's Paper Boutique to pick up these items today especially since they are on sale.

Thankful for...{PSIC#30}

Hello There!

It's the first of the month, so that means I am kicking off a new project for Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge.  The inspiration is "Celebrate Mom" you can find the inspiration photo at the bottom of this post and on the Paper Sweeties Blog

I began this card with a card base of Brown Kraft cardstock. I added some beautiful floral patterned paper to the base.  I die-cut an oval from Buff Ivory cardstock which I distressed the edges with ink.  I tucked a small doily under the oval die-cut before it was adhered down. I then wrapped a length of Raspberry Seam Binding around the card and tied in a bow which I embellished with a cream resin flower.

For the focal image, I used the Tea For Two Sweet Cuts which I built my own sentiment from You Are The Most Wonderful and Season of Love. Below the sentiment, I used a snippet of a velvet floral trim adding some Spring Peeps Sequins to the center of the flowers.
