The Kraft Journal 87 - Autumn Colors

Hi there!

Woohoo! This card was selected as DeNami Designs Top Three on 9/25/12!

(This is my second post of the day for my Shabby Tea Room Guest Design Post you can click here! :-))))

The Kraft Journal is having an Autumn Color challenge, I thought this challenge was the perfect time to get a head start on Thanksgiving Cards! J
I started this card by using Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock cutting a piece of fluted corrugated kraft cardstock which has been painted with white acrylic paint then adding to the Lunch Bag Kraft card base. Next I  die-cut a piece of pumpkin orange cardstock using my lacy oval nestability to frame the beautiful fall print patterned paper which was cut using a standard oval nestability to serve as the focal point for the golden leaves and paper pieced  small brushed pumpkin from DeNami Designs.

Using Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock, I  hand-cut a banner for the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment also from DeNami Designs.

For a finishing touch, I embellished the card with buttons, a brown gingham ribbon and twine bow.

I hope you will play along with our Autumn Colors challenge this week at The Kraft Journal.  All those that participate in our challenges for the month have a chance to win a $15.00 gift certificate from The Kraft Outlet....and you also get a chance to be considered for The Feature Me Friday artist post on The Kraft Journal blog!

I am also entering this into The DeNami Theme challenge - Anything Goes, and Inspired By: Textured Dish Towels.
Thanks for visiting me! Have a fantastic week!
